Myanmar Embassy, Tokyo is hiring qualified individual for the following position:

(1) Translator/Interpreter (1) Post

Job Description for Translator/Interpreter

-       Translate and interpret from Myanmar to Japanese / Japanese to Myanmar

-       Secretarial support to the Embassy

2.    Working Place

Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar

4-8-26, Kita Shinagawa, Shinagawa Ku, Tokyo 140-0001

3.    Employment Type

Full-time (09:30 to 16:30 from Monday to Friday)

One-year fixed service agreement (provisional Period: 6 months, Service agreement will be contracted after the provisional period)

Agreement may be renewed based on working attitude

4.    Starting Date

August 2024 (TBC)

5.    Salary and allowances

Monthly payment

6.    Requirements

For Translator/Interpreter

          Language

          English: communicable level

          Myanmar:  fluent level

          Japanese: Minimum N2 level equivalent

Competency in using the computer and the internet
